Sunday, 16. June 2019, Drayton Manor Theme park, KidsOut Colour Dash

FUN, LAUGHTER, DANCING, RUNNING, and lots and lots of COLOUR!
The KidsOut Colour Dash RETURNS to Drayton Manor Theme Park this September! Back by popular demand, this is a great day out for all the family! It doesn't matter how long it takes you to complete the run, what matters is how much fun you have - and how colourful you get!
Every Colour Dasher will receive a white t-shirt - and your challenge is to get as much colour on your shirt as possible around the course! Every finisher will be given a medal, and every attendee will be given the opportunity to gain FREE access to the Theme Park by raising a minimum of £10 sponsorship per person for KidsOut!
We can't wait, we'll see you there!

FAQ's
What is a Colour Dash, you ask?
The Colour Dash is a short running route, between 4 and 5k, around the grounds of Drayton Manor Theme Park, taking you through the campsite, the woods, and even the zoo! At various points along the way, our volunteers will be primed and ready to cover participant in 100% non-toxic powder paint! You will start the race with a clean white t-shirt, but that's certainly not how you'll finish it! We challenge you to get as much paint on you as possible!
How do we gain FREE access to the park?
Your entry cost will cover the race itself, a t-shirt, finishers medal, and a small packet of paint to throw. To gain access to the park you must get a minimum sponsorship of £10 per person.  Once you've provided evidence of your sponsorship at the sign in desk you'll be given your free Drayton Manor theme park ticket so you can enjoy the rides after the race.
How do I raise sponsorship?
We prefer online sponsorship to be raised through BT MyDonate, as the fees to the charity are minimal. Your confirmation email will contain a link to the KidsOut BT MyDonate page, where you can set up a personal sponsorhsip page. If you prefer to raise cash sponsorship, please bring this with you on the day.
Can anyone take part?
The event is open to anybody regardless of your running ability - all that matters is you turn up, have fun, and leave covered in paint! The event will not be timed as we want you to focus on having fun not acheiving a PB. Unfortunately, due to the nature of the terrain and the paint at the event, we cannot allow children under the age of 2 to take part in the event, and under 16s must be accompanied by an *****. Additionally, pets are not allowed, and the route is not suitable for push chairs.
What are the timings on the day?
Registration will open at 9am, and the warmup will begin at 10am.
Is the paint safe?
The only ingredients in the paint are Talc, Corn Starch & Non-toxic pigments. The paint is non-toxic, non-irritant to skin, fire proof, and conforms to EN 71-3 European Standard. The colour powder is almost stain free - for removal use soap for body and detergent for clothing with water. Our volunteers will not throw paint above the shoulders or at toddlers. Keep away from eyes and do not swallow. We advise wearing sunglasses to protect the eyes.
Please note we do not offer refunds on tickets.
