Thursday, 10. January 2019, The Derby Conference Centre Limited, Social Skills - An Introduction to Social Thinking (SaLT)

"How do I improve my child's social skills and social thinking?"
We are excited that Libby Hill from Small Talk Speech & Language Therapy will be providing a workshop on 'Social Thinking' in children and young people for parents, carers and professionals.
We know that children with ASD will have difficulty with social skills but its so much more than eye contact and turn-taking!
Libby will introduce you to the social thinking framework by Michelle Garcia-Winner and the dynamic assessment of social thinking. You will learn where to start and how to show your child the point of tasks to assist.
